Being released today, on my 32nd birthday, is the second installment in my "Misplaced Moments" collection. Coronavirus quarantine has allowed me some time to reflect on these songs and shape them up a bit for release.

For those folks who are not-in-the-know, "Misplaced Moments" is a series of demos, rough recordings, and incomplete songs that I have been slowly, but surely, releasing. As the album title denotes, these tracks are all from 2015 and 2016, and the individual song titles reflect the date they were initially conceived and recorded.

The album cover photo, taken by my fiancee Caitlin Darcy, is from 2016. It is of my old dog, Bambi, and I on the porch of the house I grew up in on Long Beach Island.

Many of the demos on this album were written initially for my/our band, Like-Minded (www.like-minded.bandcamp.com). We were in a transitionary point at this time, where we were trying to integrate some electronics, post-rock, piano, and more into our sound. In the fall of 2017, Like-Minded disbanded, and these demos, well, just sat on my hard drive until now.

I hope you enjoy these very lofi, imperfect songs. You will notice EQ and volume differences between them all. Distortion and pops. Lost time. Some songs go off on tangents and end sporadically. Some are more sloppy or more put-together than others, but they all were decent enough ideas that I knew I wouldn't "finish" writing, and wanted to hear in some final state.

Hell...maybe they are finished. Perhaps this is the state they were all supposed to be released in after all. Who knows?

Anyways, expect more volumes in this series, as well as some new solo music content, coming very soon.
