Welcome to another installment of Misplaced Moments!

For the uninitiated, this is a series of demos, incomplete songs, sketches, and more that I release whenever I feel like it. I find it fun to look back at what I was doing musically in a certain year, seeing if any of the riffs made it into future songs or bands, or just died on the date they were recorded.

It's been over a year since I released a Misplaced Moments album and this one is a doozy. As the date of this album might suggest (2017), I am a bit behind, and with a few solo albums coming out this year- I wanted to try and clean my back catalog out in-between those upcoming releases!

Across these eighteen tracks, we go from piano rock to hardcore techno, lo-fi emo to acoustic strums, and even a ukelele tune! All songs were first recorded on the date of their title with the words following the date being added to help differentiate them (as some tunes were recorded on the same day). These words might have been notes that I wrote about the style or feel of the song or be completely random. Who knows.

All songs were recorded on my computer, phone, or cassette deck. Minimal mics, minimal takes, minimal dubs. Almost no eq/mastering. Expect imperfection and volume/quality drops all over the place.

The cover photo is a drunken vampire selfie I took before my band PARCH played at the final Boneyard show in Atlantic City, in October 2017.
